Menlo Systems at the HRMS 2017 in Helsinki, Finland
This year’s High-Resolution Molecular Spectroscopy colloquium was held at the University of Helsinki in Finland from August, 20 to 25. With 250 attendees from all over the world the conference represents a major event within the community, among them Nobel Laureate John Hall. Menlo Systems was on site with a booth, presenting latest developments on the frequency comb and optical reference system frontline. More important, our experts presented a poster on ‘High-Resolution Dual-Comb Spectroscopy with Ultra-Low-Noise Frequency Combs’, demonstrating the power and ease of use of our latest generation frequency combs for fast broadband spectroscopy. In the work presented, the spectrum of acetylene in an absorption, that only took a few milliseconds to acquire, perfectly coincides with the HITRAN database.
The conference location, the poster sessions, and the coffee breaks offered great opportunity for networking and information exchange. As a conference sponsor, Menlo held a short presentation on the company’s latest product developments, highlighting our frequency comb, dual comb spectroscopy, and mid-IR systems.
We thank all participants for the fruitful discussions throughout the entire conference event.
